2025-3446, Traffic Crash with Injury: On 10/28/25 at 10:27 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries on Van Emmon Rd near Woodland Dr in unincorporated Bristol Township.  A 81-year-old male from Sandwich was transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

2025-3451, In State Warrant:  On 10/28/25 at 2:41 pm, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 1500 block of Douglas Rd where Nicholas M Torres, a 44 year old male of the 0-100 block of Bereman Rd was taken into custody on an original warrant for Violation of Order of Protection.  He was transported to the Kendall County Jail without incident awaiting a pre-trial conditions hearing. 

2025-3453, Theft Over $500: On 10/28/25 at 6:09 p.m., deputies responded to the Public Safety Center in Kendall Township for a report of theft over $500 that occurred 6000 block of Legacy Circle in Yorkville. The investigation is ongoing.

Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
