Kendall County Announces Completion of Kendall County Office Building
Yorkville, IL – Kendall County is pleased to announce the completion and reopening of the newly-renovated Kendall County Office Building, located on the County’s Main Street campus. The comprehensive renovation was completed by architectural, engineering, and construction management firm Cordogan Clark.
The building renovation marks the completion of Phase II of the Kendall County expansion project, which also included parking and other infrastructure improvements across the Main Street campus.
Key enhancements to the renovated space include a new monument alley, improved public navigation and ease of use, enhanced employee safety features, ADA accessibility upgrades, and a redesigned Main Street orientation.
The renovated space will house the Administration; Finance; Human Resources; IT/GIS; Planning, Building, and Zoning; Assessments; and Treasurer’s Offices, and will continue to serve as the primary location for County Board meetings.
Construction began in February 2025 and was completed over a 12-month period. County operations will officially return to the building beginning February 17, 2026.
To celebrate the project’s completion, the Kendall County Board held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
