2026-1544, Criminal Damage to Property: On 5/9/2026 at approximately 6:08 p.m., Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 400 block of W. Center Street in Bristol Township for a report of criminal damage to property. The investigation is ongoing. 

2026-1545, Domestic Battery: On 05/09/26 at 8:22 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a domestic battery in the 0-99 block of Denham Drive in Oswego Township. After investigation, Darius M. Butler, a 38-year-old male from the 200 block of Beacon Ridge Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested for domestic battery. Butler was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.

2026-1546, Reckless Driving/Obstructing a Peace Officer: On 05/10/26 at 03:17 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Orchard Road and Mill Road in Oswego for Reckless Driving. The investigation is ongoing. 

Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
