Christina Burns, County Administrator

The Department of Administration is led by the County Administrator, who oversees operations and personnel for Animal Control, the Emergency Management Agency, Facilities Management, Human Resources, Accounts Payable, Information & Communication Technology, and Planning, Building & Zoning. 

Administration employs 7 full-time staff members and provides a wide range of services that support the County Board and County departments. These services include:

  • Providing administrative, clerical, and research assistance to the County Board and its committees
  • Coordinating preparation of the County’s annual Budget
  • Monitoring departmental budgets and program expenditures
  • Managing building construction projects
  • Overseeing mailroom operations for the County Office Building
  • Coordinating vendor and professional service provider selection processes
  • Managing County media and intergovernmental relations
  • Supporting economic development initiatives
  • Managing FOIA requests on behalf of departments under the County Administrator
